Su Narrativa trata sobre sus recuerdos y sensaciones, experiencias algunas vividas por él mismo a largo del siglo XX, y otras historias anteriores, de finales del siglo XIX, contadas por sus familiares (Elisea Benítez y Aureliano Aceña) y amigos (Inocente Ciudad), historias todas narradas por él con gran dosis de imaginación que nos sumergen en un mundo de ficción con evidentes trazas de una realidad social que todavía pervade en el entorno manchego y sus gentes.
