Author Alejandra Mora explores a fascinating aspect of vernacular photography: the "amplifications in cloth", a long field research that started in the town of San Pablo Huitzo, Etla, Oaxaca, and spanned all the way into Mexico City with the intention of locating the creators of such unique portraits, who using new technologies have managed to satisfy customer demands.
