Probando su relevante contribución al ensayo modernista sobre Londres, se analizan concretamente The London Scene y Carlyle’s House and Other Sketches, y se explica su reivindicación original construida a través de dimensiones líricas, reivindicativas del género femenino y humanas de la ciudad. La base teórica actualiza la crítica sobre el género ensayístico, los Woolf Studies y Urban Studies.

This work studies Cuban writer Reinaldo Arenas' poetry in Leprosorio. It examines the problems of culture in conflict: the perspective of both exiled people who have left Cuba and the marginalized population left on the island, the use of slang and idioms created by people in the 1960s and 70s, and the impact produced by political terror.
