A detailed architectural study of the monumental and historic Mercado Hidalgo, the central marketplace in Guanajuato, Mexico. The market has over 260 stores and was inaugurated in 1910 using the previous marketplace front that was constructed in 1861. In addition to the architectural study and analysis the book has many historic photographs and information.

Jornada de Innovación Docente celebrada en la Escuela de Ingeniería y Arquitectura de la Universidad de Zaragoza el 16 de mayo de 2011. Experiencias docentes de académicos de prestigio nacional y de trayectoria contrastada como Antonio Juárez, Pere Joan Ravetllat y Cristina Gastón. Hoy concebimos y realizamos obras, en la mayoría de los casos, sin conocer a quienes serán sus habitantes. A su vez, debemos contemplar los intereses económicos del desarrollador, que gravitan fuertemente en la toma de decisiones proyectuales. Con estas consideraciones, nos sentamos a trabajar.
