Al Centro de Información y Documentación del Museo de Culturas Populares acudían personas de todas las edades -desde estudiantes de primaria a estudiantes de universidades- a fin de obtener datos acerca de la Navidad, Día de Muertos y Semana Santa, entre mucho más. La información existente no era mucha o incompleta y disgregada, lo que dificultaba la tarea de los estudiantes. Por lo tanto, me di cuenta de la necesidad de elaborar un libro que reuniera los orígenes y la simbología de las principales y más genralizadas fiestas tradicionales de nuestro país. Entonces puse manos a la obra y he aquí el resultado.
