"It deals witb a distinguished career which led the Colombian artist from her early stage of "windows" and "doors" to a series of "atmospheres"--In which she seems to leap through the frames of her earlier paintings to find herself before the light that is on the other side and was merely hinted at before. The white canvases of her "atmospheres" - luminous, sparkling and full of matter - in turn fulfill their cycle, opening the way for a further stage which is marked by the recuperatian of the object and a new and fresh approach to nature.

The volume aims to convey an impression of the richness and fascination of Romance Philology and the infinite variety of the contours and contents of the field of Romance Studies. The author was less concerned with developing novel theoretical models, but rather wanted to trace the manifestations of the most important stages in the development of the subject area and wherever possible to complement them with his own contributions. This fourth volume (Proceedings 4) presents the results of an international conference held at the Museo de los Origenes (Casa de San Isidro) in December 2008. The work is divided into three parts: Four studies on general aspects of the 'rock world' in the Iberian Peninsula, the chronology of the caves artificially created, the 'troglodyte' in the Greco-Roman tradition, and the chronology of rock-cut tombs.
