It was in his home in Oak Park that Frank Lloyd Wright made his first contributions to the Modern movement. In 1889 he designed the first part of the house, in 1895 he added to it for his wife, Catherine, and their family, and in 1898 for his architectural practice. The shopping mall is one of the typologies most succesfully developed in the twentieth century. The work of the Mexican architural firm Grupo Arquitech has ventured into this fertile territory. Directed by Juan José Sánchez since 1987. In the space of a few years, Arquitech has designed the main malls in Mexico, perfecting a model that accurately define the limit. This is the first major documentation of their work.
