Leonardo Rucabado Gómez (Castro Urdiales, Cantabria, 1875-1918), arquitecto e ingeniero, se formó en Barcelona con los maestros del Modernismo, y desarrolló su arquitectura en Vizcaya, Cantabria y Madrid, utilizando una variedad de estilos, que después negará para concluir en el «Regionalismo».
