What secret did Juan Ponce de León discover in Florida? Commanding two ships and two hundred men, the Spanish conqueror landed in 1521 in search of the mythical Fountain of Youth. After endless incidents, they believe to have found it in a thousand-year-old temple but, far from its rejuvenating effects, the elixir had a very different power than that attributed by legend. Ponce de León wanted to take it to Spain so that the emperor, taking advantage of its prodigious effects, could conquer the Holy Places of Jerusalem, held by the Ottomans. Five centuries later, that mysterious fluid appears in some excavations and falls into the hands of Dr. Brenda Lauper, who will experience an unusual journey that will mark her life forever. The CIA and a Masonic organization will try to seize the discovery, but Brenda will try at all costs to prevent it. A moving love story, a fast-paced adventure that delves, with intrigue and humor, into the predestination of our own destiny.
