El Museo del Prado propone un nuevo itinerario expositivo a través de una cuidada selección de obras en las que se invita a contemplar la realidad histórica del amor entre personas del mismo sexo y sus vicisitudes. Desde Antínoo hasta Caravaggio, el Prado hace visible la consideración y la fortuna en el arte y en la sociedad de su tiempo de artistas, modelos y coleccionistas cuya memoria ha quedado marcada para siempre por su identidad sexual. El proyecto coincide con la celebración del WorldPride Madrid 2017.

Esta publicación recoge la reedición facsímil de la obra "Por el Júcar. Notas y apuntes de viaje", editada en 1907, por otro lado, un semblante del autor y su obra, así como un nuevo relato del viaje que hizo el profesor Soler, transcurridos cien años. Esta edición contribuye al reconocimiento de la figura de D. Eduardo Soler, en una faceta especialmente atractiva para la Geografía y la Historia.
