Porfirio Diaz: Presidente de México, El Fundador de Una Gran República

Hay diferentes vías para acceder al personaje de Rodrígo Díaz el Campeador. La primera de ellas es horizontal y lo presenta como ser humano. La segunda es un enfoque desde abajo que el autor descarta porque da una visión de El Cid como figura legendaria de superhombre o semidiós. La tercera, nos ofrece a Rodrigo Díaz desde arriba, empequeñecido como un sórdido mercenario. Se aborda, pues, al héroe como un personaje histórico capaz de hacer de su vida una empresa arriesgada y brillante, pero en todo momento sometida a su control y acorde con sus ambiciones, cualidades y virtudes.

Este libro indaga la experiencia de l@s prisioner@s politic@s bajo regimenes dictatoriales en Paraguay, Brasil y Argentina durante la segunda parte del siglo 20.
