El autor muestra las redes construidas entre las distintas órdenes mendicantes, así como los distintos medios de comunicación (imágenes, confesionarios traducidos a lenguas originarias, gramáticas, vocabularios, etc.) generados dependiendo el público al cual eran dirigidos.
